Colt Model 1900 .38 ACP Deluxe Hand Checkered Walnut Grips

Model 1900 Deluxe Hand Checkered Walnut Grips - They were a factory special order feature available from 1900 to 1902.  Only two of the Model 1900s in .38 ACP were listed in the shipping ledgers as having been shipped with checkered wood grips.  The checkering pattern was a standard Colt pattern and was also used on the checkered wood forearm of the Colt Lightning rifles.
