Super Match .38 serial number 25718 with adjustable sights - pistol
was a single gun shipment to A.F. Stoeger Arms, Co., New York, NY on
April 2, 1937. 1937
was the fourth year of production for the Super Match. Slide has a
small monogram (FJH) inscribed on the right side of the frame above the
serial number. The initials FJH are for Ford James Higgins
(1910-1982). Gun was acquired by Higgins in Bozeman, MT in the
late 1930s.
