Colt 1911A1 Government Model Serial Number C158308  - Manufactured ca. 1929.  Colt letter indicates it was shipped on January 14, 1931 to R.S. Elliott Arms Company, Kansas City, MO in a 3 gun shipment. The top of the frame is marked with the G marking, indicating it was left over from the 1924 military order. The barrel also has the 1924 Transition type K marking on the belly just forward of the lugs.
