Colt Commando Serial Number 2896 with 4" barrel - Parkerized finish with brown molded checkered grips.

This revolver was issued to Major General Charles M. Duke in 1969 when he was North Atlantic division engineer in New York City.

Colt Commando Serial Number 2896 - right side.  Top of barrel contains patent dates.

The number "USNX9278" is inscribed on the butt of the gun.

Left side of frame showing ordnance bomb above cylinder release.

Left side barrel markings.

Serial number 2896 visible when cylinder is open on the frame.
