#3260 COLT GOVERNMENT MODEL .45ACP PISTOL, S/N 247848-C, manufactured in 1951 and still retains 99% of the original factory deep blue finish. Original factory grips with embossed Rampant Colt logo and are in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or handling marks. Verified Proof and "Government Model" markings. Bore is bright and shiny. Has very slight wear at the muzzle end of the slide and a very slight "take down" mark but the front strap shows absolutely no wear at all. 1911A1 - (Pic1, Pic2, Pic3, Pic4) Caliber: 45, SN: R.A.D., Price: 9000, Description: Once in a lifetime opportunity to own the rarest experimental factory COLT 1911A1. From the Scott Meadow's collection. Serial Marked On trigger guard "R.A.D." for COLT's "Research And Development" Department" (see photo). This is the ONLY factory made LONG BARREL M1911A1 and CUT FOR STOCK. Barrel is one piece Factory machined 7 1/2 in tube. "In the white" tool room condition, with some rough Colt factory machining - showing a pre-stage of production. Advanced collectors will recognize the same machining patterns that exist on the 2nd gen SAA grip frames (under the grips). Therefore probably made during the 1950's for a military or police prototype experiment. Pistol still has factory tool room number plate (638) attached to trigger guard. Bore is mint and comes with factory COLT Mag of the 1950's. COLT just recently released several of their factory prototypes after 2005 and this is one of the rarest M1911A1'a in existence. Cannot be improved for rarity and historical value. #3594 COLT PEACEMAKER SCOUT 6" BLUE .22 CONVERTIBLE REVOLVER, IN BOX WITH PAPERS. This Colt S/A revolver, Serial No. G160006, was manufactured in 1976 and is in the factory box, (box is tattered and is missing both end flaps) with the Owner's Manual and ALL papers, including the original factory wraps for the revolver and extra cylinder. There is a small spot on the .22LR cylinder and the hammer flats show slight signs of having been handled and not wiped down, but these are very minor. The factory grips are like new and this 34 year old Colt Peacemaker will make a great addition to a Colt collection. Sorry, no California sales.
