Coin Purse Holster
It is my understanding that Colt's never produced nor contracted for the production of these purse holsters and to my knowledge, they were not an original accessory which accompanied these pistols. I have, however, noticed a reference to the sale of these purses in the reprint of the 1911 Alfa catalogue, so they were commercially available as an aftermarket accessory.
