Colt Model 1911 serial number 69918 - This was one of
300 guns originally shipped in April 16, 1914 to the Adjutant General,
State of Rhode Island, Providence, RI and
at some point before WWII it was sent to Augusta Arsenal and the barrel was
replaced with a
Springfield Armory pre war replacement barrel and the all checkered colt
wood stock.
